A dedicated born-again Christian, Thembeka believes in putting God first in every endeavor. Her work reflects a heart for service, addressing critical issues like unemployment, education gaps, family disconnection, and substance abuse, while celebrating the achievements of young individuals making a difference.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

Thembeka\u2019s leadership style is dynamic and inclusive, drawing on her strong organizational skills, strategic thinking, and hands-on experience. I am Charity Mahlakanya, a graduate in BCom in Information Systems from the University of Johannesburg, and I owe a significant part of my success to the support I received from the Back-to-School Program. This program played a significant role in helping me transition from high school to university, guiding me through the complex application processes.<\/p>\n

As someone who faced difficulties in accessing higher education after three gap years, the Back-to-School Program provided me with hope and clarity. The mentor did not only assist with my university applications but also helped me choose the right career path, ensuring I pursued a field that aligned with my interests and significant in the era we are in.<\/p>\n

They were there for me during critical moments, providing capital when I had to do my student card, checking my module registrations at the university.<\/p>\n
